Myreen Castro is a curious 3D artist with professional experiences across content creation and motion capture.

Throughout her NCEA years, she maintained excellent achievements in Art and Design. This led to her Digital Design journey at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), where she specialized in Visual Effects, Motion Capture and Facial Animation. In 2019, she graduated with distinction and became a recipient of AUT's Digital Design award in VFX, before briefly taking up freelance client work during the pandemic.

In just two years as a content creator, Myreen was able to bring transformative results to StretchSense, significantly enhancing its visual identity and increasing brand awareness through high engagement ratings - later featured by the likes of Forbes, TechCrunch and Snoop Dogg. She was a key player in the company's product marketing efforts, performing 3D asset creation and live demonstrations of their flagship motion capture gloves, integrated within optical and inertial-based body systems inside of Maya and Unreal Engine.

Currently she is based in Wellington, NZ working as a Junior Motion Capture Tracker at the renowned visual effects company Weta FX.
